Pin Strip

| This 32 way turned pin socket strip is intended to provide a simple solution for making temporary connections to
the project board, either for testing or rapid prototype development. |

|
|
| Pins can easily be cut from the strip, as shown above, and the pins inserted into the holes of the project board
as shown below. |

|
|
| Wires can be inserted into the socket pins without soldering to allow quick connection of power, RS232 and sensor
data lines. More permanent connections can be made by soldering the wires into the pins and sheathing the wire-pin
with heatshrink tubing. In this way numerous temporary configurations can be tested on the board before soldering
any connections. The pins are particularly useful for connecting jump wires between the overlay board and breadboarded
prototype circuits. |
